In September 2021, Waimi, Mbetmi and Yimi were selected as official One Step Greener Ambassadors ahead of the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow — joining a nationwide campaign celebrating UK citizens taking action on climate change.
In October 2023, Waimi was honoured with the British Citizen Youth Award for exceptional contribution to the community and for being an inspiration to others.
